Urologist joins Mercy Regional Medical Center
DURANGO, Colo. Urologist Sejal Quayle, M.D., recently joined the medical staff at Mercy Regional Medical Center and began seeing patients at the newly opened Mercy Urology Services, a hospital-owned clinic.
Dr. Quayle’s interests encompass the breadth of urology, including disorders related to the kidneys, prostate, and bladder, as well as incontinence and erectile dysfunction.
“Dr. Quayle’s experience, particularly in performing minimally invasive surgical procedures, will be a great fit with Mercy. Adding a urologist of her caliber reaffirms Mercy’s status as a regional medical center,” said Kirk Dignum, CEO of Mercy Regional Medical Center.
“I am very excited about the new opportunity in Durango, and I hope to expand the range of treatment optionsespecially with regard to minimally invasive techniquesavailable to patients in the Four Corners area,” said Dr. Quayle.
Dr. Quayle completed her residency in urology at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., and worked as a urologist in Belleville, Il. She received her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and her master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her undergraduate education at Yale University.
Dr. Quayle is married to Jay Quayle, M.D., a general surgeon who recently joined Southwest Surgical Associates in Durango. The Quayles and their two children enjoy hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities.
