Public Service Announcement Durango, Colo. — Mercy Regional Medical Center will host a fall health fair on Sat., Nov. 15, from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on the Garden Level at Mercy Regional Medical Center. A basic health screening, which includes lipid profile (requires a 12-hour fast), complete metabolic panel, complete blood count, body mass index, and blood pressure tests, will cost $35. Attendees may also purchase a personalized health risk assessment that combines the basic health screening data with lifestyle data to create a 15-category summary of one's health status. The cost of the personalized evaluation is $25. Lung function assessments, EKG readings, and bone density readings will be provided for free, and hemoglobin A1C, prostate screening antigen, and thyroid stimulating hormone lab tests will be provided for a nominal fee.
