PSA: Mercy to Host Community Health Screening, Breast Care Center Open House - Sat, Oct 24

Mercy Regional Medical Center will host a community health screening on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 8:00 a.m. - 12: 00 p.m. The screening will be held on the east end of the first floor of the Mercy Medical Plaza. Visitors should enter via the building's east entrance, by Durango Family Medicine. For a $35 fee (cash or check only), participants will receive lipid profile, blood pressure, body mass index, complete metabolic panel, and complete blood counts (without differential) tests. Carotid vascular ultrasound tests and additional screenings for prostate cancer, osteoporosis, diabetes, lung function, and more will be also be available. Please call 764-2700 for more information.

*Accurate testing requires fasting 12 hours prior to lab tests (drinking water will not affect test accuracy).

From 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 24 the new Mercy Regional Breast Care Center, located at the east entrance of the Mercy Medical Plaza, will host a public open house. Health screening attendees and others are encouraged to visit. The breast care center will open for business on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
