For Immediate Release Primary Care Doctor Joins Mercy Regional Medical Center Durango, CO - Robert "Buz" Bricca, M.D., recently joined the medical staff at Mercy Regional Medical Center and is now accepting new patients at Mercy's Health Services Clinic, a hospital-owned adult primary care clinic. "Those who have been unable to find a primary care doctor now have someone to call," said Kirk Dignum, CEO of Mercy Regional Medical Center. "Dr. Bricca is a very experienced physician and we're proud to welcome him to Durango. He adds to the capabilities of the other providers at the Health Services Clinic and will help increase access to much needed primary care," added Dignum. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Bricca will be the clinic's medical director. The other providers at the Health Services Clinic are nurse practitioners Ronda Ramsier and Janet Wolvin. Before joining Mercy, Bricca was the chief of staff at Pagosa Mountain Hospital in Pagosa Springs, where he lived and practiced medicine since 2005. From 1986 to 2005, Bricca practiced family medicine in the Jackson, Wyo. area.
The Health Services Clinic is located at 1800 East Third Ave., suite 109. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (970) 764-1790. All insurances, including Medicare, are accepted at the clinic.
