Mercy Center for Occupational Medicine

Mercy Center for Occupational Medicine treats patients who have been injured while working. Our goal is to provide quality, efficient, patient-focused care so that employees can return to work as soon as possible. We work with many area employers, their employees, and insurance carriers who provide workers compensation insurance.

Services
The Center provides initial assessment of injuries, including medical treatment, pain management, and referral to physician specialists and other healthcare providers such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, and more. The Center also provides follow-up treatment and impairment exams according to worker’s compensation guidelines.

Because the Center for Occupational Medicine focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation cases, wait times are almost always very short compared to wait times at physicians’ offices. We are often able to care for patients immediately after they are injured, in which case they can bypass the Emergency Department.

Skilled Staff
The physicians who staff the Center for Occupational Medicine are board-certified in emergency medicine and have Level II accreditation with the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation. The staff works closely with Mercy Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department, including hours during which the Center is closed, and occupational medicine patients have access to the many medical technologies and services at Mercy Regional Medical Center.

Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., closed from noon to 1:00 p.m.
