Pharmacy Department
Mercy Regional Medical Center’s Pharmacy Department strives to provide quality pharmaceutical care for every patient, provider, and staff member. Our pharmacists collaborate with the medical providers and nursing staff to develop the proper medication regimen for each patient. Skilled Staff
All of our pharmacists are registered with the Colorado Board of Pharmacy. Many of our pharmacists have advanced Doctor of Pharmacy degrees, have residency training in the pharmaceutical sciences, and/or are board certified pharmaceutical specialists.
Our pharmacy technicians work alongside the pharmacists to ensure that every patient receives the right medication, at the right dose, and at the right time. All of our pharmacy technicians go through a national certification process.
Our entire staff is required to complete numerous continuing education courses each year. In this way, our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians stay abreast of the latest drug therapies available.
