Luke Angel, DPT, ATC, graduated with an Athletic Training degree from the University of Michigan in 1995, and worked for the USA Hockey Development Program in Ann Arbor. In 2000, he earned a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Following this, he moved to Durango to work as an athletic trainer and physical therapist at Aztec and Durango High Schools, and later helping to start the Training Room program where he worked for four years.
Following a short time as a traveling physical therapist in Washington, Oregon and Hawaii, Luke returned to Durango and worked for Peak Physical Therapy before starting his practice, Quantified Performance that focused on technologically advanced physical therapy. In 2011, Luke earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. Luke is board certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and is also certified in Dry Needling (2009), Astym (2010) and has completed all classes from Functional Movement Systems (FMS) for the FMS and SFMA. Luke recently became certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University.
Luke joined Mercy Integrated Physical Therapy in 2014, and as supervisor of the Athletic Training Program, helped launch the concussion program and create a comprehensive Sports Medicine Program. He enjoys mountain biking and travelling with his wife, Ashlie.
